Furthermore, the established business of DanCenter/Danland is about to be added to the group. More than 1.3 million holidaymakers from over 140 different countries book their holiday every year with @Leisure, resulting in a total booking turnover of approximately € 400 million. @Leisure is seeking fast growth, both organic as well as via acquisition ranging from portfolios of house owner contracts (asset deals) to larger sized companies in targeted regions, in a market which is entering consolidation phase. For the acquisitions @Leisure has arranged substantial funding via its shareholders.

To strengthen our team in the field of Business Strategy and in order to manage the organic growth as well as the merger & acquisition projects with subsequent integration, @Leisure is seeking you.

Project Management Office (PMO) - Manager (m/f)
in Amsterdam

Tasks and responsibilities
Coordination of all project activities within the @Leisure, as well as managing the post-merger integration projects
Provide advice, leadership, oversight and taking responsibility for the execution of strategic projects and integration of strategic investments for the @Leisure leadership team (CEO, CFO, COO, CTO)
Responsible for determining and implementing the optimal approach for organising and executing a project and therefore the creation of the project team(s) and process(s) required for the successful delivery of the projects within defined portfolio
Required to negotiate with local management teams as well as project teams to ensure the effective co-ordination and planning of resources for projects
In PMI projects working cross-functionally across the whole deal lifecycle (incl. pre-deal analysis, project plan integration and post-deal implementation)
Ongoing refinement and delivery of tools to be used by the integration teams in support of pre-deal analysis and post-merger integration activities
Define and document program objectives and requirements across the organization
Facilitate activities across the functional and business teams to scope project, identify resource requirements, articulate deliverables and develop timetables and milestones (including closing and any subsequent platform, data, customer migrations).
Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to plan for synergy achievement and budget tracking
Review data and identify risks that require additional investigation and follow up with the respective business units
Responsibility for controlling and tracking of each integration phase and related key activities
Monitor results of the transition via key performance indicators on a continuous basis
Provision of estimates against relevant work packages necessary to produce the business case for project approval. The development and maintenance of fully resources project plans, work breakdown structures, budget management, reporting, including the completion of robust risk identification, management and mitigation actions

Required background
5 years of PMO related experience with at least two years in a leadership role, preferably external management consulting experience, M&A, transaction advice, corporate development or post-merger integration experience is beneficial. Experience in, holiday business / online activities IT solutions would be advantageous
Proven overall senior business consultant or line manager experience proving the capacity to conduct an operational turnaround within a short time horizon
Strong business acumen and project management capability
Excellent analytical and business diagnostic skills
Proven ability working cross-functionally with diverse groups and senior level management
Stellar communication skills both written and verbal
Outstanding academics; Masters level degree preferred; undergraduate degree in related discipline is a minimum requirement
Strong personal credibility, flexibility, excellent team working skills, and ability to build excellent working relationships across the @Leisure Group
